Welcome to the SANREM-Andes web page. Our
purpose is to facilitate the exchange and dissemination of research
results, methodologies and information on participatory mountain
watershed
research and management. The data, methods and ideas presented
on the web site are derived from the efforts of the SANREM
team working primarily in
Ecuador,
although we also have ongoing work in Peru and with CIAT in Colombia.
After six years of participatory research, we are prepared to pass
along our work for other projects, local communities and planners or
policymakers interested in the participatory approach for solving
natural resource and agricultural issues.
