World Geography of Peanut Database

This database was developed to support World Geography of the Peanut project by putting together all the available information on the peanuts. This database lists more than 450 publications, mainly articles, reports, and unpublished material on various aspects of the peanut food system around the world. These publications contain information required by the project such as history of the crop, regions of production, cultivation practices, trade, and use.

All the publications or entries included in the database are indexed following a general reference convention. The database contains seven reference fields: title, authors, publication, key words, country, region and abstract. The database can be searched by using any key word to go further to refer the original documents which are kept classified by countries and regions/continents. This database is being updating periodically to include the latest information. The users are kindly requested to correct existing files or provide new information to include in the database. A subset of these publications are available in downloadable form. In all cases, please email us or refer to our contact information.
